Creamed Honey
Our raw West Tennessee honey, slowly crystallized into a smooth, spreadable cream and blended with cinnamon. It spreads like butter, won't drip off your knife, and tastes like a warm cinnamon roll. Try it on hot biscuits, toast, oatmeal, apple slices, or stirred into your morning coffee. Enjoy wonderful flavors like Cinnamon and Vanilla.
Major Floral Sources: Soybean, Cotton, White Clover, and native Wildflowers are the primary contributors to our West Tennessee harvest.
With dozens of plant species foraged by honeybees in our region, you'll find nectar from agricultural fields, hardwood forests, and meadows throughout the Forked Deer River watershed represented in every jar.
What is creamed honey?
Creamed honey is 100% honey with nothing added to make it creamy. We guide the honey's natural crystallization into tiny, fine crystals, which gives it a smooth, velvety texture instead of the coarse, grainy crystals honey forms on its own. The only additions are the flavorings: ground cinnamon in this jar.
How is our honey produced?
Our honey is:
- Raw & gently handled – Kept below 110°F, preserving the natural enzymes your bees worked hard to create.
- Unfiltered – Strained to remove wax debris, but never ultra-filtered. Natural pollen and fine wax particles remain.
- No antibiotics – We never treat our bees with antibiotics.
- Chemical-free mite management – We use organic acids, not synthetic miticides.
Storage:
Store at cool room temperature, ideally below 75°F, to keep that smooth, spreadable texture. In warm conditions creamed honey may soften or separate slightly; just stir it back together. Do not warm or microwave creamed honey, since heat will melt the fine crystals and destroy the natural enzymes. Refrigeration isn't needed, but it will make the honey firmer if you prefer it that way.
